Committees

Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW)

Our Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW) membership includes all ladies of our parish. When you register as a parishioner of St. James, you automatically become a member of our PCCW. Our group meets four to six times per year. We try to schedule our meetings on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Our meetings are announced in the weekly parish bulletin.

We extend an invitation to all new members to join us. It is an opportunity to meet other parish members and to share in the events of our parish family.

Pastoral Council

Provides input to the pastor on all areas of parish life and ministry.

Finance Council

The Finance Committee will develop, implement and maintain programs for receiving, counting, accounting for, and disbursing funds of the Parish and its organizations.

Education Committee

To inform and advise the Parish concerning matters relating to education of all students and in matters involving the provision of educational services to the general church community.

Family Life Committee

This committee is formed to encourage commitment to family life throughout the entire Parish. This is accomplished by promoting family involvement in parish functions and activities.

Justice and Peace

The Justice and Peace Committee assists the Parish Pastoral Council in fostering concern for justice in the world, especially in areas of parish life.

Sacred Worship Committee

The Sacred Worship Committee shall provide for meaningful worship services and encourage members to actively participate in worship. The committee will oversee the education and scheduling of servers, readers, ushers and Eucharistic ministers.
