Did I say Camp Tesomas in winter? What can you do at a summer camp in winter you may ask? The answer is a lot. The staff and family camping cabins are open, the miles of trails are groomed, and the fish in the lake are ready for a lunch. What more would you want, snow?
You can bring your own skis or rent them at the camp.
The trails are groomed and marked with the largest loop to explorer being 5 miles long.
Other activities include snowshoeing, ice fishing, and shelter building.
One of the attractions on the ski trails at the far south end is the Big Hill.
We were one of the first groups to break in a new cabin called Buffalo Bill.
It has lots of room to do things like organizing your leaf collection.
Actually a few of the boys were working on some of their First Class requirements.
