For the last few years, we have gone on a backpack outing in April. This year we went on a backpacking outing in northern Wisconsin on the Ice Age Trail near Parish. What better time to go, no hot days, no foliage to block the views, and best of all, no bugs.
While the cars were being placed at the other end of the trail,
everyone else was getting ready.
After a day on the trail, the food looks good.
Tonight we made a beef and potato stew.
Back on the trail home.
