“Given the budget problems that we face we need new priorities so that state tax dollars are spent where they do the most good”

• Quality, affordable healthcare coverage, including prescription drugs.

• Smaller classroom sizes so that students can receive the individual attention they need.

• Expanding the Community Options Programs (COPS) to save money by keeping people out of long term nursing care and keeping them in their own homes.

Property Tax Relief

“Property Tax Relief must remain a major goal in Madison.”

• Maintaining Shared Revenue is absolutely critical if we're to have meaningful property tax relief.

• The more spending decisions that can be kept local, the better off we'll be.
