WOOD COUNTY ORDINANCE #220
MISCELLANEOUS PUBLIC PEACE
220.01 Purpose
As provided in State Statute 59.07(64) where the County has authority to enact ordinances to preserve the public peace and good order within, we would propose to adopt the following State Statutes enumerated below. Wording of Statutes would be adopted, excluding the penalty provisions and all other language adopted, as of the publication of this chapter.
(1) 220.01(1) Criminal Damage to Property - adopting State Statute 943.01(1)
(2) 220.01(2) Trespass to Land - adopting State Statute 943.13
(3) 220.01(3) Trespass to Dwelling - adopting State Statute 943.14
(4) 220.01(4) Theft - adopting State Statute 943.20(1) and 934.20(2)
(5) 220.01(5) Fraud on Hotel or Restaurant Keeper - adopting State Statute 943.21
(6) 220.01(6) Shoplifting/Retail Theft - adopting State Statute 943.50
(7) 220.01(7) Resisting or Obstructing Officers - adopting State Statute 946.41
(8) 220.01(8) Disorderly Conduct - adopting State Statute 947.01
(9) 220.01(8a) Unlawful Use of Telephone - adopting State Statute 947.012
(10) 220.01(9) Loitering on School Grounds
220.02 PENALTY SECTION
Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be required to forfeit not less than $10.00 nor more than $200.00 plus all of the required court costs of this action.
220.03 REPEAL OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES
All ordinances or parts of ordinances enacted by the County Board of Wood County prior to this date that are in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
