Ladies and Gentlemen:

On behalf of the Wood County Sheriff’s Department, I am honored to present our 2004 Annual Report.  I welcome your review of our service to the citizens of Wood County for 2004.

Thank you for taking an interest in our department.  This website is currently going through several changes so please check back for updates.

We would also like to take the time to welcome our new Sheriff.  Thomas Reichert was appointed Wood County Sheriff on June 21st 2005. 

We would also like to take a moment to thank Kurt Heuer for his time as the Sheriff of Wood County and we, as a department, wish him the best of luck as the new Chief of Police for Wisconsin Rapids Police Department.
