OPEN RECORDS REQUESTS/INFORMATION

Open records requests can be made at the Sheriff's Office in person between the hours of 8:00 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday (excluding Holidays), or by telephone request at (715) 421-8715 or by mailing them to:

Typical requests include accident reports, incident reports, individual contact records, photographs, audiotapes, CD’s and DVD’s. Records can be picked up at the Sheriff’s Office or mailed to the requestor. Fees are as follows:

Accident Reports: Free or may be emailed
Incident Reports First 10 pages free / $ .25 per page thereafter
Video Tapes $10.00
CDs & DVDs  $10.00

Juvenile records, reports concerning pending or on-going cases, cases that have not been disposed of in court (ie.,cases that may require a motion of discovery to the District Attorney's Office), or records of a sensitive nature may not be able to be released in whole or in part.

For Criminal History Records, you must complete a Criminal History Record Request form and mail to:
